Those of you in Scotland will already know that Uisge Beatha means 'the water of life and in Scotland, that can only mean whiskey! Luckily, Pete is a dedicated whiskey fan, which should help as we head off to see how the rest of the world measures up! It still hasn't sunk in yet that we have actually won such an incredible trip, neither has the fact that we'll be leaving the day after I complete a quadrathlon in the Highlands, but we are VERY excited to say the least!
We will do our best to update this blog as we go along and keep you up to date with photos etc, but for now, back to packing.....
